Initial situation

As part of an internal innovation project, artefactum developed a new Cream-in-Gel Technology that combines classic cream and gel structures in a new way.

Challenge

An innovative texture alone is not enough. The technology also had to be controllable in production, scalable and usable for different application concepts.

Product development, engineering and process thinking were brought together from the start. In addition to the formulation, own machine concepts, manufacturing processes and application ideas were developed.

Implementation

The technology was developed as a platform: sensorially distinctive, visually independent and adaptable to brand-specific skincare concepts.
