Founder & CEO of artefactum
Moritz Heitland founded artefactum in 2011 with the aim of bringing innovative cosmetic technologies into industrial application faster, more flexibly and closer to practice.
Today, artefactum stands for the connection of research, development, production and technological innovation within the modern cosmetics industry.
A particular focus of his work is the CosVention program, which identifies new cosmetic technologies, develops them scientifically and transfers them into market-ready applications together with selected partners.
Since 2022, Moritz Heitland has been Chairman of ICADA e. V. and since 2024 Head of the Scientific Advisory Board and board member of the Forschungsgemeinschaft der kosmetischen Industrie e. V. (FKI).
